The Greatest MLB Players Not in the Baseball Hall of Fame
10. Rafael Palmeiro
Palmeiro completed his career with 3,020 hits and 569 grand slams. For reference, just four different players (Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Alex Rodriguez, and Eddie Murray) have indented both 3,000 hits and 500 grand slams. Lamentably for Palmeiro he’s not only a Mitchell Report fellow. He’s one of its spread young men. Palmeiro was one of the primary players (and the principal star) to test positive for PEDs under the new arrangement in 2005. That went against what he had resistant revealed to Congress not long before the season. The final product was a miserable decision to an awesome profession.
